The Defense Group, within Airborne Solutions Division at Leidos is seeking Systems Administrators in support of our SS-AISR program located in Bagram, Afghanistan.
As the Systems Administrator you will be responsible for providing direct technical support to all ISR (Intelligence Surveillance Reconnaissance) assets/platforms for the SS-AISR program, and, provide maintenance, troubleshooting and technical expertise of operating systems and system applications.
• Account creation in a domain environment
• Quarterly patch installation
• Troubleshooting issues on Aircraft and ground systems
• Managing/creating scripts
• Maintaining Cisco network equipment
• Technical documentation of procedures, and other duties.
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below.
-Requires a Bachelor's degree, (additional years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree), and 4+ years of prior relevant experience, or Masters with 2+ years of prior relevant experience.
This position requires candidates to adhere to DoD 8570.01-M Certifications. You must have, and maintain, one of the following baseline certifications, and, one computing environment (CE) certification.
-Acceptable IAT Level II Baseline Certifications: Security+ CE, CASP, CCNA Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GISCP, GSEC, GCED, GCIH, or, SSCP
-Acceptable CE Certifications: Linux+, MCSA (2012/2016), MCSE: Server Infrastructure, MCSE: Private Cloud, MCSE: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure (2012/2016), RHCSA, RHCSE, CCNA, CCNP, CCIE
-Must have basic Windows system administration skills both in a Domain and Non-domain environment.
-Strong system troubleshooting and the ability to apply root cause analysis to determine hardware, software, network or configuration issues to identify the appropriate remediation.
-Firm understanding of RAID technologies and efficient storage of large datasets.
-Additional travel may be required, up to two months, in Iraq or Africa
-A current DoD Secret level of clearance, with the ability to obtain a final TS/SCI
-Valid passport for at least 3 years.
-Ability to read, write and speak English
-Must be able to meet CENTCOM CRC medical minimum standards
-Must be able to meet deployment training minimum standards
-Must be able to work with customers and subcontractors in a professional manner
-This position, although based in Bagram, may require travel to other sites within the program. This travel may be temporary, or permanent and assigned locations may change based on mission requirements and/or Program Manager's discretion.
-Must be able to work a 60/60 rotation work schedule;work 7 days a week, 12 hrs. per day, for 60 days, and 60 days off.
-Experience with Linux, Windows Systems and ESX virtual environments
-Experience with Networks and Cisco equipment.
