Job Description:

The Electronic Warfare Division of Leidos has an opening for a Signal Processing Engineer/Analyst to work in our San Diego CA office. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience developing advanced state of the art electronic warfare algorithms and techniques. It is an opportunity work with a world class research team using mathematical analysis married with high fidelity modeling and simulation to advance EW technology at a fundamental level to solve challenges of national significance.

Primary Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities will be working with a research team in a classified environment developing and analyzing algorithms and techniques for electronic warfare applications. This involves mathematical formulation/analysis and the development/execution of sophisticated models and simulations in a Matlab and/or C++. The job also includes documenting technical progress, writing technical reports, and developing/presenting technical briefings to teammates and customers.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelors' degree in a science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) field. Must experience using Matlab, C, and/or C++ and a solid mathematical foundation in linear algebra, probability, Fourier analysis, and analog/digital signal processing. Must be a U.S. Citizen and have or able to obtains a security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

Masters or Ph.D. in a STEM field. Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance with background investigation completed within the last 5 years.
