Leidos is excited about our upcoming work with a Federal law enforcement agency. The Oracle Database Administrator will provide highly technical expertise in providing business application solutions. The DBA will utilize their understanding of hardware/software, communication environments and related peripheral equipment. The DBA will specify proper types of file organization, indexing methods, and security procedures and advise contractor project teams on the design of complex databases (e.g., schema and subschema details). The DBA will define specialized aspects of user's data base administrator documentation and perform detailed comparisons of various data base systems.

Basic Qualifications -

Ability to communicate orally, and in writing, detailed technical information on troubleshooting and implementation efforts.

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 12 years of professional experience; or 10 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.

8+ years Oracle Database Administration Background PL/SQL experience to include tasks such as data migration, user administration, backup and recovery, security patches, and general DBA tasks

Previous work the Department of Justice (DOJ).

Oracle on Unix/Linux, SQL script, PL/SQL oracle program language, RMAN, TOAD.

3+ year experience in Unix Shell Programming

Preferred skills-

Experience working with Agile Software Development Teams

Oracle Certification on Oracle 11.2 or above
