Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY:

This program provides 1st SFC and its subordinate units with Subject Matter Expert (SME) support for LREC program management and measurement, test data analysis, incentives tracking and processing, training facility management, training curricula development, materials support, and instruction.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide support for the database and Foreign Language Proficiency Bonus task. Support shall consist of, but is not limited to, the following general responsibilities:
  • Assess and analyze Special Operations Foreign Language Office (SOFLO) database statistics to enhance the effectiveness of their unit's LREC Training Program
  • Collect and synchronize all data and databases from subordinate commands and seamlessly work with senior-level Incentives and Proficiency Data Analyst
  • Manage their unit's Foreign Language Proficiency Bonus (FLPB) Program
  • Manage paperwork and procedures to assist their unit change Control Languages for all assigned Special Forces, Civil Affairs, and Military Information Support Soldiers through Human Resources Command (HRC)
  • Understand and apply all relevant Service and local policies as effect incentives and language testing. Draft changes to policy to better support their unit
  • Draft and review documentation, provide corrections and provide recommended corrections.
  • Compile data as required, prepare reports, and create presentations suitable for senior audiences (military grades O5 to O6). The contractor shall be proficient with data entry and database maintenance, MS Office applications, and local area networks
  • Utilize the following systems to support USASOC/1st SFC LREC Programs: Defense Joint Military Pay System (DJMS), Interactive Personnel, Electronic Records Management System ( IPERMS), Electronic military Personnel Office (E-MILPO), Enlisted Distribution & Assignment System (EDAS), WEB-Based Defense Milpay Office (DMO), Total Officer Personnel Management Information System (TOPMIS), Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC), USASOC/1st SFC local area networks
  • Compile data and enter records into the Special Operations Foreign Language Office Database used to track and manage all Foreign Language Proficiency Bonus for over 9000 qualified Soldiers.
  • Analyze unit turnover rates and report on its effects on training proficiency, unit capability, and language training programs and brief these results to Brigade and Battalion commanders.
  • Travel will be required upon government request, no more than one week per month


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: ( list the "must have" requirements to be considered for hire )
  • High school or GED and 3 + years of experience .
  • 2-years' experience working on military pay or personnel issues. Must be able to use all current Microsoft Office applications and SharePoint.
  • 2-years' experience with Defense Joint Military Pay System (DJMS), Interactive Personnel, Electronic Records Management System ( IPERMS), Electronic military Personnel Office (E-MILPO), Enlisted Distribution & Assignment System (EDAS), WEB-Based Defense Milpay Office (DMO), Total Officer Personnel Management Information System (TOPMIS), Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC), SOCOM local area networks
  • 1 year experience utilizing Special Operations Foreign Language Office Database to track and manage all Foreign Language Proficiency Bonus.
  • 1 year experience analyzing unit turnover rates and reporting on its effects on training proficiency, unit capability, and language training programs and brief these results to Brigade and Battalion commanders
  • Position requires a Secret clearance
