Job Description:

Leidos has an immediate career opening for an AF ISR/IT Plans & Program Analyst to provide project management, administration and systems expertise in support of Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) integration and synchronized air power operations at Nellis AFB, NV. Candidates must already possess a TS/SCI security clearance in order to be considered.

JOB DESCRIPTION: The position will assist with plans for current and future technology integration and ensure compatibility and standardization based on current and projected customer needs. The incumbent will identify trends, ineffective practices or procedures and equipment shortcomings, and provides solutions and recommendations. The position regularly interfaces with AF Group and Wing leadership and end-users for daily operations, presentations, and status reports. The applicant must be able to create task goals, project plans, and schedules. The applicant will participate in special projects, as required.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Provide expertise in strategic planning at the AF Group and Wing level

- Administer, develop, deliver, and support IT systems and services to provide secure and reliable C4ISR operations

- Maintain the customer's official agreements with the Group, Wing and/or other DoD agencies

- Manage/standardize associated units' formal agreements

- Author and maintain strategic level instructions and Concept of Operations (CONOPS)

- Oversee the customer's Program Objective Memorandums (POMs) and aid in generating POM submissions

- Perform IT system administration (Windows) including performance tuning, system availability, capacity planning, provisioning, and security

- Administer systems/environment solutions for multiple projects and services

- Perform in depth investigations on the applications in the production system environment

- Provide configuration management, application implementation, server upgrades, software and operating system patches, antivirus updates, and data backup/restoration for client systems

- Plan for current and future technology integration and ensure compatibility and standardization based on current and projected customer needs

- Set up, administer, and service accounts across multiple networks and client environments

- Provide service to end-users for operation, restoration, and configuration of information systems

- Establish and update procedures and documentation

- Ensure rigorous application of information security and assurance policies in the delivery of C4ISR services

- Perform COMSEC custodian duties in accordance with national and DoD directives

-Occasional shift work will be required to support exercises

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

- Currently possess an active TS/SCI security clearance

- Bachelor's degree in related discipline and 8+ years of ISR and IT experience or minimum of 12 years' experience in DoD ISR and IT operations-Air Force is preferred

- Familiarity with AF Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS) Sentinel systems/applications and Planning and Direction, Collection, Processing and Exploitation, Analysis and Production, and Dissemination (PCPAD) capabilities

- Broad scope knowledge of network, systems, and information security administration roles

- Knowledge of Communications Security (COMSEC) handling policies and procedures

- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and professional demeanor

- Must have ability to effectively organize and analyze information, produce reports, position papers, and briefings that are responsive to specific AF Group and Wing senior leader needs

- Currently possess DoD 8570 certification of CompTIA Security+ce or higher (or willing to obtain within 6 months of hire).

- Must be willing and able to lift 50 pounds

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Military C4ISR (Command, Control, Computers, Communication, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance) experience

- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

- Familiarity with Falconer Air and Space Operations Center (AOC) operations and systems environment

- Knowledge of weapons systems, sensors, and major aircraft programs
