Leidos Defense Group has an opening for an Executive Assistant at Lackland AFB, TX. This position is part of a large program supporting the Air Combat Command's (ACC) Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) mission. Candidates must currently possess a TS/SCI security clearance.
The Executive Assistant's principal duties are to perform a variety of complex and routine administrative and secretarial duties with minimal supervision for a senior government official. Duties include managing and prioritizing the daily workload and adjusting for revised priorities, complying with written and oral guidance to facilitate internal and external communication, organizing travel schedule, managing a busy calendar by deconflicting competing appointments and comprehending whether appointments should be scheduled with other team members, preparing meeting materials, executing independent decisions and take initiative to improve operations and office best practices within established guidelines.
The candidate must currently possess a TS/SCI security clearance.
The candidate must have experience working with high level officials.
The candidate must have strong skills to critically review, independently edit, format and synthesize various types of input (verbal, notes, emails, drafts) into a cohesive document or correspondence in accordance with the Air Force Tongue and Quill and other format policies, including military technical documents such as point papers, policies, and messages.
The candidate must have experience with gathering and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data and developing administrative reports and recommendations.
The candidate must have experience designing, facilitating, and conducting tasker responses.
The candidate must have experience handling confidential/sensitive information.
The candidate must be highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Pro and SharePoint.
The candidate must be familiar with scanning and imaging documents.
Experience with the US Military, consulting in a DoD environment and/or the Intelligence Community preferred.
Demonstrated ability working independently and in a team environment.
Bachelor's degree (any discipline) or equivalent experience and 4+ years of specialized administrative support experience of an increasingly responsible nature at a senior level. Specific experience may substitute in lieu of a degree if a waiver is approved by the customer.
