Job Description:

The Defense Group at Leidos currently has an opening in our Huntsville, Alabama office supporting the Production and System Support Line of Business in the role of Maintenance Manager.

Primary Responsibilities

The position will perform as the Maintenance Manager for the Automated Test Equipment (ATE) Support Program. Position will plan and supervise maintenance operations and manages the calibration program. Coordinates activities and schedules to maintain General-purpose Electronic Test Stations (GETS), printed circuit boards, and various accessories and instruments used in a development and test environment. Responsible for final assembly and integration of new stations, preparing station for shipment to customer location, and final integration and test of stations post-delivery. Provides input to new products and develops maintenance strategy, along with the required processes to implement the approach. Serves as the training lead for customer related / operator level training, coordinates training resources, and develops new training material as needed. Must be able to communicate with internal and external stakeholders as necessary to resolve complex problems and issues. Determines workload priorities of the maintenance team and tracks key performance indicators.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree with 4 or more years of relevant experience or Masters with 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Detailed understanding gained through hands-on experience with fault isolation, diagnostics, and repair of electronics.
  • 2+ years supervising experience
  • 2+ years' experience developing and delivering training
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
