Job Description:

The Computer Support Analyst monitors and operates the control console of either a mainframe digital computer or a group of minicomputers, in accordance with operating instructions, to process data. Work is characterized by the following: Studies operating instructions to determine equipment setup needed. Loads equipment with required items (tapes, cards, paper, etc.). Switches necessary auxiliary equipment into system; Diagnoses and corrects equipment malfunctions; Reviews error messages and makes corrections during operation or refers problems; Maintains operating record. This operator may test run new or modified programs and assists in modifying systems or programs. Included within the scope of this definition are fully qualified Computer Operators, trainees working to become fully qualified operators, and lead operators providing technical assistance to lower level positions. Work with 3rd party vendor on ensuring desktops, laptops, docking stations and monitors are operable. Adjudicating tickets within QCTool. Working with Xerox to ensure warranties are maintained and Xerox tech's are dispatched to customer site to address issues users are having on printers. Process Quarterly Bulk Orders of Xerox consumables (Toner Cartridge, Maintenance Kits, Drum Cartridges, Fuser, Imaging Kits

Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 4 years overall IT experience with focus on desktop experience
  • Knowledge of tech refresh processes and procedures
  • Thorough understanding of migration considerations including tech refresh, profile migration and data migration
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Access, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word)
  • Knowledge of Windows 7 and Windows 10 Operating Systems
  • Knowledge of shipping and receiving
  • Ability to maintain inventory of equipment


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of ITSM Tools ( CA Service Desk and Service Now ) Open/Update/Close tickets with the accurate information
  • Knowledge of Dell Desktops and Laptops
  • A+ Certification
