The Leidos Defense Group has an immediate career opportunity for a Windows Systems Administrator at San Antonio, Texas.
This position supports the Defense Civilian Personnel Data System (DCPDS).
Will be responsible for providing Windows Server administration for a medium enterprise-wide, multi-site server environments.
Will require working in a fast-paced team environment.
Ability to work flexible schedules to support mission requirements.
Solid communication skills to interact with system owners, DCPDS Operations and Engineering teams, to receive and status incidents on Windows server and storage.
Assist in the planning, analysis, and design of Windows servers, storage, and server network components to deliver new capabilities and projects.
Ability to effectively troubleshoot issues to be able to work towards a resolution.
Assist with monitoring the health of servers, their storage, and server network interfaces.
Create and maintain system documentation and reports.
Coordinates with other DPCDS teams on Windows server and Desktop projects and operations support.
Communicates, assist in the day to day tasks of the other team members.
Ensures Windows servers are compliant with DoD policies, STIGs, IAVAs.
Communicates and collaborates with the other DCPDS leads and Managers.
Provides on-call support for Windows support on a rotational basis with other team members.
Provides troubleshooting and incident resolution for Tier 1-3 problems.
BS degree and 2-4 years of prior relevant experience or additional relevant experience in lieu of degree, or
Master's degree with less than 2 years relevant experience.
MUST be US Citizen.
Public Trust Clearance.
Will need to successfully pass a DOD Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) investigation upon starting in position, in order to qualify for placement into a DOD IT-1 position.
Possess a current Security+ CE certification (or higher) upon starting in position.
Demonstrated experience with Windows Server 2008R2, 2012, 2016 and Windows 10, illustrated through work background
Demonstrated experience with Windows Hyper-V and virtual clusters, illustrated through work background.
Knowledge of Microsoft Systems Center 2012.
Experience with installation, configuration, implementation, monitoring, support and engineering of SharePoint, SQL Server, and other Microsoft products.
Experience in the implementation of STIGs required for Windows OS, VMs, SQLServer, SharePoint.
Experience patching Windows Servers and Desktops.
Experience managing Active Directory Services, User MAC's.
Demonstrated experience in Networking technologies.
Demonstrated experience leading a technical team or project.
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities required.
Familiar with HP Blade Servers and Enclosures.
Familiar with HP SAN systems.
Experience with HP ArcSight or other SIEM tool.
Experience with disaster recovery planning and exercises.
Experience with DISA or other DoD customers.
