Job Requisition:Technical Director
Leidos is seeking a Technical Director for a large Information Technology and Operational Maintenance program located in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, and United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The ideal candidate will be experienced in leading large Information Technology programs maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction while motivating staff to meet and exceed customer expectation.
The program focuses on providing communications systems, acquisition, integration, installation, operations, and maintenance support to U.S. Air Forces Central Command (USAFCENT) operations. Work on the contract will be performed primarily at USAFCENT deployed locations throughout Southwest and Central Asia with a small contingent based at AFCENT HQ, Shaw Air Force Base in Sumter, SC.
Travel is required.
Bachelor of Science degree in electrical/electronics/computer engineering from an accredited university. Must meet the certification requirement of DoD 8570.01-M or otherwise stated in SPIN-C or individual task order. The contractor is expected to have, but is not limited to, the following IT certificate:
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
Minimum of six (6) years of “hands on” work experience in support of communications electronic systems or equipment. Must have the technical knowledge to solve complex problems, understand the interrelationships of circuits, understands Internet Protocol (IP) routing and architecture design and be able to exercise independent judgment in performing tasks. Minimum of six (6) years of engineering experience in the following areas:
- Information Technology
- IP Network Design and Architecture Development
- Tech Control
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Military Communication Systems as specified in the task order.
