The Logistics & Mission Support (L&MS) Organization at Leidos is currently seeking a Storage Area Operations Supervisor (STIII) for the ASP/TSA program in Kuwait.
Reports to the Area Manager. Responsible for planning, directing and supervising work involved in the receipt, storage, transfer, adjustment, issuance and accountability of conventional ammunition, explosives and ammunition components. Reviews planned workload and backlog, plans and schedules work based on mission priorities and makes assignments to, and monitors the daily performance of, subordinate employees. Plans, schedules and/or conducts periodic or special inventories of ammunition with organized inventory team. Reviews inventories and takes necessary action to identify/correct any discrepancies. Maintains general surveillance over stock control procedures and operations to recommend corrective actions for any identified deficiencies/errors to the Area Manager. Coordinates shipment of ammunition. Monitors storage/explosive safety practices and recommends/implements changes to storage plans in order to ensure safe and proper storage of ammunition and components, while maximizing space utilization. Recommends changes in shipment/receipt plans to Area Manager, when planning indicates that adequate storage space is not available. Ensures quantities for the ammunition in storage, shipped, issued and/or received are accurate in quantity and lot number.
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Minimum of BA and five (4) years' experience in ASP procedures with demonstrated knowledge of storage/quantity distance procedures as prescribed by DA Pam 385-64 (Ammunition and Explosives Safety Standards). For the BA degree 4 years or related work experience can be substituted. Must have skill sets to enforce all Class V regulatory requirements described in, but not limited to, DA Pam 385-64 and DA Pam 385-10 (US Army Safety Program). Must be fluent in speaking and writing English.
Active Secret clearance and three (3) years of direct ASP/TSA program experience required.
