The Leidos Defense Group has an immediate career opportunity for a Business Systems Analyst at San Antonio, Texas.

Job Description:
Applies functional and/or technical knowledge to the design and configuration of an Oracle Cloud HCM environment for the Department of Defense Civilian Personnel Data System (DCPDS) to meet the customer's requirements and system needs.
Understands content, processes, and procedures associated with implementation and conversions of enterprise applications.
Performs fit/gap analysis, writes functional requirements, develops test plans, and works to solve workshop, testing, and production issues.
Works with federal HR functional experts (Leidos and Customer) and developers to ensure requirements are being met.
At higher levels, serves as subject matter expert associated with content, processes, and procedures associated with the configurations necessary to implementing an Oracle HCM SaaS (cloud) enterprise solution.

Primary Responsibilities:
Applies business analysis skills to the federal HR specification needs.
Responsibilities include active engagement to research, review, analyze, solicit, decompose, and document enterprise level business requirements.
The business analyst will play a key role in the organization by taking the lead on complex areas within the projects and working with the customer to define/document functional requirements and business rules then decompose those high level requirements to be used as development and implementation specifications.
The business analyst is key to the success of every project, as he or she will collaborate with the developers and testers in order to ensure all associated business rules and requirements are documented and the end product meets the customer's expectations.
Will be an active participant in efforts migration from Oracle EBS to Oracle HCM cloud.
Participate in fit/gap analysis, data mapping and system configuration, capturing the business requirements from collaborative workshops and documented DoD policies and procedures.
Decomposing high level custom needs into system level requirements.
Collaborate within an agile team to support various development and cloud implementation initiatives.
Manage and optimize requirements into the agile flow of value delivery through the value stream. Work within agile teams.
Help facilitate epic planning sessions; facilitate periodic retrospective meetings that focus in the decomposing requirements into design segments.
Assist with priority recommendations.
Responsibilities will span requirements solicitation, decomposition, and documentation.
Business analysis, data analysis and collaboration with the customer, developers and testers.
It is expected that the candidate have an understanding of data relationships and the process of applying business rules to the data element level, with experience documenting source to target mappings.
The chosen candidate must have a strong customer focus, be a self-starter and capable of multi-tasking, and have a deep interest in both business needs and the technology required to meet them.

Basic Qualifications:
Must be US Citizen.
BS degree and 4-8 years experience or additional relevant experience in lieu of Bachelor's or
Master's degree with 2-6 years relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance to be adjudicated to the DCPDS program.
Knowledge and or experience with the DCPDS program.
Knowledge of requirements process and decomposing customer needs into system level requirements.
Knowledge of Oracle HCM SaaS product.
Understanding of agile development processes.
