Job Description:

Are you looking for an exciting new change working in logistics? If so Leidos has an opening for you, our newest Logistics Supply Chain Specialist to work in our Albuquerque, NM office. This exciting opportunity will challenge your ability to place, track and receive orders for specialty hardware that supports research and development across multiple projects. You will join our team that supports the Directed Energy Directorate of the Air Force Research Laboratory at Kirtland AFB.

Fun stuff on the job:
-Work with Leidos technical staff and purchasing agents to place orders for materials and supplies.
-Track orders and provide delivery updates to our technical staff and customers.
-Receive orders, notify purchasing of delivery and deliver material to its intended location.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
- High school diploma with at least 2 years of experience in logistics and supply chain operations.
- Good interpersonal and teamwork skills with a desire to help people overcome obstacles.

You will wow us even more if you have these skills:
- Experience and/or certification with operation of a forklift.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word applications.
- Experience using Costpoint or similar on-line procurement tools.
