Leidos has a career opportunity for an Operations Support Specialist at Offutt AFB, NE. Candidates must already possess a current TS/SCI security clearance in order to be considered. The selected candidate will performs or manage a variety of information management (IM) tasks and activities including staff support, publishing, records, administrative communications, and workgroup management (information systems and technology support). The candidate will also help create and maintain continuity books and master training plans to facilitate office and program management and assist with resource allocation assessments.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs IM functions and activities. Responsible for overall administration, management, and life cycle of information and control of information resources. Manages electronic and manual publications and forms development, design, control, storage, and dissemination. Acquires and distributes publications and forms using manual or electronic means.
Provides guidance to ensure publications and forms meet prescribed style, format, and legal and statutory requirements. Implements procedures for manual and electronic creation, control, coordination, dissemination, and disposal of administrative communications. Establishes and maintains offices of records. Creates manual and automated file plans. Applies file cutoff procedures and disposes of and retrieves records. Operates and manages automated records information management system. Operates and manages a records staging area for inactive records storage. Complies with Privacy Act (PA) and Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) procedures and provides assistance to ensure others comply. Provides PA, FOIA, and records management training, as needed. Operates the Base Information Transfer System and Official Mail Center using manual and automated systems. Provide customer support to include access badge issue and track SCI training data. Other administrative duties as assigned.
Operations Support Specialist also provides input on policies and procedures for assessments and reporting on current and projected program health. This position will advise on the force development of Airmen from multiple specialties and the consolidation of the group's ISR mission essential training tasks, identification of supporting organizations/activities, documentation of lessons learned, and mitigation of negative impact to operational activities.
TS/SCI Security clearance on day 1 is required.
Candidates must possess 4+ years of related experience.
Knowledge of policies and procedures relating to the life cycle of information and control of information resources, including administrative communications, official records, publications, and forms; information systems (operation and support), and general office management principles is required.
Education: completion of high school with courses in business, English composition, computer science or information systems, mathematics, and keyboarding is desirable
Experience with PEX, SharePoint, data analysis, data visualization, and advanced understanding of Excel. Staff experience to include a prior position in CSS, Scheduling, Training, Stan/Eval, UDM, or XP.
