Job Requisition:Site Manager
Leidos is currently seeking a Site Manager to be located in Mazar-e Sharif, Afghanistan. The Site Manager will manage the site to ensure SMW MI-17, PC-12 and MD-530 missions are completed satisfactorily. The Site Manager will also interact with the functional managers to ensure mission requirements are met, work with the TAAC-Air, SOAT and Afghan Partners to ensure mentoring and mission requirements are met and attend weekly PMO meetings, Maintenance meetings, Logistics meetings and customer meetings as required.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Direct all phases of programs from inception through completion for Mazar-I Sharif site.
Manage $5M program annually from flight operations, back shops, maintenance, and mentoring plans.
Responsible for over $200M in program assets for site to include AGSE, Government & Lease Vehicles, 9 Rotary Wing & 3 Fixed Wing Assets, and maintenance equipment.
Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.
Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs.
Participate in the negotiation of contract and contract changes.
Coordinate the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract.
Act as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.
Establish design concepts, criteria and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration and test.
Develop new business or expand the product line with the customer.
Establish milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications.
Direct the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing and administrative areas.
Engage with various elements of United States Military, Afghanistan Special Mission Wing, TAAC-Air, AAF MD530, European Coalition Forces, and U.S. Government Contractors regarding IPTs and mission requirements during expansion of program and site.
Bachelors degree with 5 years of applicable experience or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of degree.
Secret Clearance is required

A&P license, 1 year MI-17, PC-12 or MD530 maintenance experience
