Quality Lead - TS/SCI with Poly

Job Description:

The National Solutions Group at Leidos has an opening for a Quality Lead supporting mission applications in Aurora, Colorado. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your experience to support our customer’s mission.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Monitor and report on the quality and performance of technical activities
  • Gather data from tools and through collaboration with program team
  • Gather, analyze and report data on program management parameters
  • Coordinate with systems engineering and integration contracts
  • Prepare briefing material for program management, customers and executives
  • Prepare program CDRLS
  • Identify continual service improvement opportunities
  • Lead continual service improvement initiatives
  • Manage program level audits
  • Support external audits as required
  • Provide data in support of corporate and customer compliance requirements

Basic Qualifications

  • United States’ citizen with current TS/SCI access with SSBI
  • Bachelor’s Degree with 4-8  years of applicable experience or 4 additional years in lieu of degree
  • 5+ years’ experience IT project management, quality management and/or audit activities
  • Proven experience with one or more of the following technical disciplines:
    • Systems engineering and integration
    • Project management
    • Configuration management
    • Change management
    • Software development
    • Information assurance
    • NSIS-based integration
    • ITIL framework
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively and constructively as part of a team
  • Must be willing to perform out-of-hours support as required

Preferred Qualifications

Mission critical IT operations experience

  • Systems engineering and integration experience
  • Mission-specific technical knowledge
  • Software development
  • Experience with one or more of the following technical disciplines:
    • Statistical analysis
    • Current and legacy software development languages and tools (i.e. C, C++, Java, XMIDAS)
    • Unix, Linux or Windows operating systems, including shell scripting
    • Enterprise management tools
    • Enterprise storage management and configuration
    • Database management systems and tools (i.e. Oracle, MySQL)
    • TCP/IP networking in an enterprise environment
    • Information system security, including IAVA management and ICD 503 compliance
