Job Requisition:Fire Protection Engineer
Leidos, Inc. currently has an opening for a Fire Protection Engineer with a minimum of 5 years experience in the fire protection field to support the mission of the FAA in either our College Park or East Point GA location, both central to At.
This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the FAA fulfill its fire protection and life safety activities.
Assist the FAA Fire Life Safety Program office in the implementation of fire life safety activities throughout various facilities in the FAA;
Specific duties include:
- Participate in site walk-throughs of various facilities to evaluate the existing fire life safety systems.
- Develop Condition Risk Assessment reports based on the site walk-through.
- Assist the FAA in the development of applicable standards for fire life safety systems.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Fire Protection Engineering or
- Registered/Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) Fire Protection Engineer in at least one state within the U.S.
- A minimum 5 years experience in the Fire Protection Engineering discipline,

- Experience with Microsoft Office and Microstation;
