Job Requisition:Enterprise Infrastructure Line of Business Manager
The Civil IT Division of Leidos is seeking an Enterprise Infrastructure Line of Business Manager (EILBM), contingent upon contract award. This position will be based at a customer site in Crystal City, Arlington, VA.
The EILBM will manage a team of approximately twenty individuals who will be responsible for maintains the customer’s core IT infrastructure in accordance with established Service Level Objectives. The EILBM’s responsibilities are broken into three key areas: Platform Services (which includes both on-premise and cloud environments), Transport Services (necessary for interconnection between sites) and Enterprise Application Services.
The environment consists of several hundred sites across the country, and the EILBM and his or her team will be responsible for the network equipment, the Windows and Linux server equipment, the storage equipment, and other core infrastructure components which the customers use every day. Infrastructure availability and reliability is critical for customer success, and the EILBM will be responsible for managing and scheduling his or her team to ensure that systems and applications are available for customers to use. He or she will provide expertise in project planning, task management, and control; including demonstrated use of project scheduling, cost management, change management, and tracking tools. The individual selected for this position will supervise the team and provide direction to ensure quality deliverables are created while managing costs, scheduling, and resources. He or she will collaborate with Senior Government IT Staff, and work independently to ensure that project goals and objectives are met.
The EILBM and his or her team will maintain the customer’s infrastructure and application environment, including architecting, designing and configuration of databases, and operating and maintaining associated applications, API, interfaces, data. He or she will implement any upgrades as deemed necessary, and will oversee and implement the application of necessary platform, transport services, other core services, assets and accounts to support enterprise applications.
The EILBM will provide systems integration services, including integrating database services, and will identify potential systems integration issues. While performing this work, he or she will recommend integration strategies to facilitate data collection, data entry, data exchange, data reporting and query processes within and between existing COTS or Government applications.
The EILBM will manage and maintain the configurations of IT infrastructure equipment, and will continuously monitor infrastructure services and optional initiatives to ensure optimal configurations are implemented and that organizational guidelines for Change Management are properly followed. He or she will ensure continuous service improvement optimization and performance of infrastructure and application solution delivery, and will ensures services, systems, assets, and applications are properly protected and maintained/delivered with in required compliance levels.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, with 8 years of prior relevant experience; or a Master’s degree with 6 years of prior relevant experience; additional years of experience and/or relevant certifications will be considered in lieu of degree
- 4+ years of experience supervising or leading teams or projects performing similar work to the work required in this position
- Demonstrated leadership experience
- Proven customer relationship skills and ability to work collaboratively with customers
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Debugging and technical documentation skills
- Experience managing large-scale Windows environments
- Enthusiasm for working in a high performing team environment and collaborating with customers and users to define scope and design
- Self-motivated to learn new skills for solving challenging engineering, scientific and information technology challenges
- Public Trust Clearance (Risk: High) with MBI, LBI, and/or SSBI successfully adjudicated within the past 60 months
- Functional management experience
- Cost, Schedule or Project Management experience
- Experience working in Federal Government customer environments
