Job Requisition:Program Manager
The Civil IT Division of Leidos is seeking a Program Manager (PM), contingent upon contract award. This position will be based at a customer site in Crystal City, Arlington, VA.
The individual selected for this position will be fully responsible for the performance of work supporting our customer. The team consists of approximately 150 staff, situated all across the country, and the scope of work includes providing all levels of IT support for our customer. The individual selected for this position must have the leadership ability to independently manage complex programs. He or she will have excellent customer relationship skills, and will be adept at working with customers to solve problems within the scope of the contract. He or she will supervise the team, through several subordinate managers, to ensure that service level objectives are met, that quality deliverables are provided, and that cost savings are implemented over team. This individual will be responsible for all the personnel and other resources supporting the customer, and will be expected to engage other portions of Leidos to provide reachback or otherwise assist in achieving the customer’s mission.
The Program Manager will collaborate with the Government Chief Information Officer and Senior IT Staff and will work independently to ensure that Government organizational goals, program goals, IT performance objectives and service level objectives are met.
The Program Manager will be authorized to make commitments on behalf of Leidos and make decisions in response to customer issues, concerns, or problems. The customer expects that the PM will be proactive in alerting the Government to potential contractual or programmatic issues including situations that may compromise the Contractor’s ability to provide services.
- PMP certified, valid within 12 months of being on-board in the position
- Leadership ability to independently manage complex programs
- Public Trust Clearance (Risk: High) with MBI, LBI, and/or SSBI successfully adjudicated within the past 60 months
- Bachelor’s Degree plus 15 years of experience
- 12 years or more of IT Operations experience
- Generally has 7+ years of experience supervising or leading teams or projects
- Program Leadership experience
- Past experience managing the financial aspects of IT programs
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to multitask and function in a quick-paced environment
- Control Account Management
- Past experience with the Department of Justice
- ITIL Foundations
