Document Management Analyst I (ATR – DC)

Job Description:

Leidos is looking for a two DMA I (Document Management Analyst I) personnel to support our efforts at the Department of Justice – Antitrust Division at 450 5th Street NW, Washington DC.  The period of performance is long term temporary (for a minimum of one year).  This is a General Clerk III position.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Filing, retrieving, and copying case file materials
  • Assisting with the creating of witness binders
  • Assisting with the preparation of depositions and trial exhibits
  • Entering data on-line to case files and other databases
  • Assisting legal staff with making travel arrangements
  • Scheduling meetings/conference calls
  • Entering Time & Attendance for staff as needed
  • Serving as the property management and accountability assistant by keeping accurate inventory of office supplies
  • Arranging courier/delivery services
  • Document retrieval
  • Faxing information
  • Arranging routine and emergency services of office equipment
  • Overseeing the organization and maintenance of correspondence files
  • Other general office duties as needed
  • Handling incoming written and oral communications among senior executive staff; receiving and fielding telephone calls
  • Scheduling and maintaining executive senior staff calendars
  • Making travel arrangements (domestic and international) and preparing forms requesting authorization and reimbursement for travel
  • Assisting with sponsored events; helping with the coordination of logistical information and assisting in the organization of all aspects of the event
  • Performs moderately complex litigation support tasks, including, for example, detailed review and analysis of case materials in a broad range of subject matters, such as financial records, health care materials, and other litigation files;
  • Detailed indexing of case files;
  • Drafting procedures for accomplishing litigation support assignments;
  • Perform document acquisition related tasks;
  • Screen for privilege documents;
  • Conduct database searches;
  • Perform e-discovery culling.
  • Proofread and edit deliverable products.
  • Other clerical support tasks as needed

Basic Qualifications:

  • Three years of experience on major litigation support projects or undergraduate degree.
  • Must be a US citizen and be able to pass a federal government background check.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good typing skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
  • Hands on familiarity with computer applications
  • Able to be flexible enough to adjust to a change in section with little notice
  • Ability to Multi-task
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
  • Must have excellent writing skills and oral communication capabilities.
  • Requires hands-on familiarity with the Government's office and network environment, including but not limited to, data processing environments, including office automation networks, PC-based databases and other applications, internet and server-based databases and other applications, such as Oracle, Concordance, Relativity, Summation, Trial Director, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience or substantial undergraduate coursework in, for example, finance/accounting, health care, or substantial experience in the legal environment or in information technology.
  • Should be a knowledgeable user of the Government's office and network environment, including but not limited to, word processing, spreadsheet, imaging, and hardware systems.
