Information Security Systems Engineer - TS/SCI w/ Poly

Job Description:

Leidos is currently looking for a full time Information Security Systems Engineer (ISSE) to provide Security Engineering support for a mission-focused project in Reston, VA. Responsibilities include: documentation; back-up and disaster recovery;  compliance management to include security compliance for projects, auditing, and encryption implementation and compliance for various levels of data;  Risk Management; system security vulnerability; Management and compliance with the Federal Management Information Security Management Act.  This position requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance in order to be considered.

The selected candidate will support  a high profile customer on a project that produces highly visible products for senior leadership. They will be responsible for providing strategic and tactical guidance for development and O&M activities. They will also be responsible for the successful implementation of DevOps standards, ensuring system applications are compliant.

Basic Qualifications

  • 1. Requires BS degree and 12 – 15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10 – 13 years of prior relevant experience. May possess a Doctorate in technical domain.
  • 2. Ability to support several projects at one time in various stages of the A&A process
  • 3. Experience working with Project Managers to track and resolve POAMs
  • 4. Strong communication skills both written and verbal facilitating constant communication on A&A status to Project Managers
  • 5. Experience with risk management and mitigation
  • 6. Experience with system security vulnerability and compliance testing.
  • 7. Experience producing program documentation
  • 8. Experience with concept of operations
  • 9. Experience creating Back-up and disaster recovery plans
