Description

Job Requisition:

Process Integrator

Job Description:

The Leidos Origin program provides IT services to a critical national client and is responsible for all facets of IT services for a user base of 2,000-3,000 staff and contractor personnel.  We have global reach: over 100 locations within CONUS, and several locations outside CONUS.  We are seeking a business process tools engineer/integrator to help us transition to a more formal IT Service Management framework where we will be applying ITSM capabilities to further mature our service management, problem management, and SLA reporting capabilities.

You will work with program and client staff personnel to understand existing business processes, identify gaps in existing processes, and develop new business processes.  You will formally document these processes and then implement these processes into workflows into existing program toolsets.  Once implemented you will perform test runs of the workflows, adjust the workflows as required, and then deliver the final workflow product to production.   You will monitor workflow effectiveness and make improvements as needed after a workflow has entered into production.  You will develop final as-built documentation of all workflows and assist with other program needs.  You will interact with vendor technical support personnel and technical program teams as needed.  You may be called up on to assist with other program activities that relate to this position.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Define processes for service tickets, new service requests, and system discrepancies.
  • Review and provide inputs on overall systems and detailed engineering plans for cyber security tools
  • Implement processes as workflows into program toolsets (e.g. Solarwinds WHD, SharePoint, etc.).
  • Develop methods to capture workflow metrics in a format which can be used to produce performance data for SLA management.
  • Deploy the workflows into production.
  • Provide operational support for the tools and workflows to ensure their availability to program and client personnel.
  • Develop documentation artifacts for processes and as-built workflow designs.
  • Participate in technical exchange meetings with program and client personnel.
  • Act as the subject matter expert on business processes and workflows to other teams.

Basic Qualifications

  • Requires BS degree and 8-12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with less than 6-10 years of prior relevant experience or experience in lieu of degree
  • Experience with gathering requirements, understanding, and defining business processes.
