The Leidos Defense Group is seeking a dynamic Business Process Analyst to support the Navy Personnel Information Management in Millington, TN.
The Business Process Analyst will analyze and measure existing business processes for best practices and effectiveness; make recommendations for increased accuracy and productivity and/or reductions in cost; and, drive and/or assist improvements. Problems may not have an obvious solution, and the ability to understand a certain business process as it fits into a greater operation is critical.
This particular position is data-centric, requiring a good understanding of Navy processes and systems. The analyst must have the ability to consolidate information from various sources into a useable and meaningful format to facilitate management review and decision making. The Business Process Analyst will work independently to achieve day-to-day objectives with little oversight. May be responsible for entire projects or processes on this program. Analyst will communicate directly with internal team members as well as customers. The analyst will be responsible for business process and data analysis and reporting.
Bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years of prior relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with at least 2 years of prior relevant experience. Experience will include business process analysis and reporting. Proficient in Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio. Some knowledge or experience with data analysis.
Experience with Navy personnel processes and systems, particularly PERSTEMPO; SQL databases; Microsoft ACCESS.
