Targeting Instructor

Job Description:

The Defense Group at Leidos currently has openings for Targeting Instructors (AFP4/CDE) at Goodfellow AFB, TX. This position is part of a large program supporting Air Combat Command’s (ACC) Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) mission.

Primary Responsibilities

The instructor shall support ACC Intelligence Initial Qualification Course (IIQC) execution and other training activities as directed by the unit Senior Intelligence Officer, lead IIQC Instructor, or A2 staff.  Personnel will support instruction, materials development, course maintenance, and other related activities.  Contractor shall incorporate systems/tools training throughout curriculum. 

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of Air Force Intelligence Experience, achieving Mission Ready in primary duty position
  • 5 years of experience supporting site-specific MDS or similar mission-type MDS at the tactical unit level or in direct support from the operational level
  • AFP4/CDE experience
  • Previous instructor experience
  • Expertise on Air Force Instructions and AFTTP 3-1 documents
  • TS/SCI
  • Must be able to successfully complete instructor training as directed by the Air Force

Highly Desired:

  • Combat intelligence support experience, either deployed or from home station
