Job Requisition:Cyber Program Manager
Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Security Operations Center (SOC) is a US Government program responsible to prevent, identify, contain and eradicate cyber threats to CBP networks through monitoring, intrusion detection and protective security services to CBP information systems including local area networks/wide area networks (LAN/WAN), commercial Internet connection, public facing websites, wireless, mobile/cellular, cloud, security devices, servers and workstations. The CBP SOC is responsible for the overall security of CBP Enterprise-wide information systems, and collects, investigates and reports any suspected and confirmed security violations.
Leidos is seeking an experienced Cyber Program Manager to lead this highly visible cyber security operations center (SOC) for Customs Border Protection (CBP), cyber analysis, application development, and a 24x7x365 support staff.
Candidate must have experience of direct project and program management experience in delivery of information systems or computer network support services. The Program Manager shall have demonstrated capabilities to analyze highly complex cyber security and network issues, recommend plans of action for SOC staff (including both contractor and government personnel), and manage teams supporting resolution of these issues. This individual will serve as the main point of contact for the Contracting Officer (CO), the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR), the Government SOC and CISO personnel, and Leidos senior management.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or Cyber security with 8 years of prior relevant experience in system engineering/program management experience with 4 years of direct project and program management experience in the delivery of information systems or computer network support services.
Experience managing a Security Operations Center (SOC) or other equivalent cyber organization
Must possess demonstrated capabilities to analyze highly complex cyber security and network issues, recommend plans of action for the Leidos SOC Team and SOC Government staff, and manage the resolution of these issues.
ISC2 CISSP certification
Must have an active Secret Security Clearance. In addition to specific security clearance requirements all CBP SOC employees are required to currently possess or be able to favorably pass a full five year background investigation (BI) to support this program.
Masters of Science in Engineering or related field
Experience leading a 24/7/365 operations team at a customer site
