Leidos has an opening for a Software Developer to work in our Atlanta office in support of the Government’s Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR) - NITAAC GWAC program.
This position is contingent upon contract award.
Analyze NITAAC systems and business applications and designs as it continues to transition information to an open source or COTS architecture that ensures integration with ASPR legacy systems.
Perform all software development and operational testing and evaluation (OT&E) in either the development or testing environment as appropriate.
Manage software releases to production in a standard process that assures quality, secure coding practices, compliance with FISMA security controls, and minimizes disruption to business operations.
Perform software development as needed for the ASPR system
Translate detailed design into computer software
Enhance software to reduce operating time or improve efficiency.
Review required documentation, including both program-level and user-level documentation.
Provide technical direction to programmers to ensure program deadlines are met
Manage and administer enterprise components of ASPR applications including but not limited to compute, storage, network, hardware, software, and software applications that are not managed by the ASPR Enterprise Management Branch (EMB)
Manage and administer all databases that support ASPR Ready applications.
Provide understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for ASPR custom software.
BS degree and 8 – 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 – 10 years of prior relevant experience. Experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
