Job Requisition:Sr. Software Developer
Leidos has an opening for a Software Developer to work in our Atlanta office in support of the Government’s Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR) - NITAAC GWAC program.
This position is contingent upon contract award.
Participate in the design of software tools and subsystems to support reuse and domain analysis.
Assist Software Engineer and Applications Programmer to interpret software requirements and design specifications to code, and integrate and test software components.
Oversee full lifecycle management (systems engineering support, design, development, test support, deployment support, and maintenance) for reporting development activities.
Propose and coordinate Reporting team staffing plan with the Software Lead.
- Review and update the Reporting Functional Requirements documents.
Manage IT projects.
Work with all software lead to staff employees across all IT projects and efforts.
Work with program manager as needed to resolve resource conflicts between projects.
- Demonstrated expertise for providing oral and written communication to management while providing technical leadership to engineering and operational teams.
Demonstrated experience in software engineering and Reporting processes.
Detail oriented and must be able to think independently.
Skill in managing one's own time and the time of others based on an established project plan.
Skill in using analysis, logic and reasoning to troubleshoot issues and find the best solutions to challenges.
Strong customer service orientation.
BS degree and 12 – 15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10 – 13 years of prior relevant experience. Experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
