Leidos has an opening for a Software Developer to work in our Atlanta office in support of the Government’s Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR) - NITAAC GWAC program.
This position is contingent upon contract award.
Support NITAAC systems as it continues to transition information to an open source or COTS architecture that ensures integration with ASPR legacy systems.
Perform all software development and operational testing and evaluation (OT&E) in either the development or testing environment as appropriate.
Provide problem analysis of and develop fixes for any assigned software issues.
Provide support as needed for the system engineering and test teams.
Translate requirements into detailed software designs.
Develop significant expertise in assigned areas and become a go-to resource in those areas for others on the program.
Serve in a leadership capacity on development efforts as needed.
Mentor less experienced software developers.
Provide understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for ASPR custom software applications.
BS degree and 2 – 4 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with less than 2 years of prior relevant experience. Experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
