Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY:

Position is to support government customer with Inventory Management and Property Control functions at a government facility in the Northern Virginia area.  Position is Full-Time, core business hours.  Local travel within the area is expected. 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Candidate will be able to work independently and with co-workers to manage inventory, address in-coming and out-going materials, scan and file documents, maintain and update electronic records with status/location information for inventory, catalog and manage physical documents and equipment, and courier various items as required.  Candidate will be able to provide status to designated staff and customer personnel as required. Must be able to lift items/equipment of up to 25 lbs.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma/GED equivalent
  • 3 years of professional experience in a similar or related field.
  • Ability to become familiar with logistics procedures,  regulations, policies and procedures appropriate to area of assignment
  • Basic knowledge of logistics and related databases and applications
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office suite of software
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • TS/SCI with polygraph
  • Valid Driver’s license
