Job Description:

Leidos is currently seeking a Staffing Program Manager to support a large Air Force contract in the Newport New, VA area. This can be a telecommuting position.

The applicant will be responsible for the management of all staffing actions on the ACC-ISR program. The applicant will interact closely with functional leads, Mission Leads, the PMO Director, the PM, finance, subcontractor PMs, and recruiting teams and to manage all activities and other related management tasks that are essential to ensuring that qualified staff are in place and capable of meeting the mission requirements at all times.

Primary Responsibilities

This role is responsible for providing support the project staffing needs including supporting project staff plans, forecasting staffing needs, filling staffing positions, maintaining staffing qualifications oversight, managing retention of staffing, managing on-boarding and off-boarding of staff, coordinating staffing recruitment across team members and working with Leidos human resource management personnel.

The candidate will be responsible for managing all activities related to staffing to ensure mission requirements and contractual requirements are being met. This include tracking and motioning staffing rosters, managing vacancies, attaining staffing metrics, identifying and vetting qualified candidates, and ensuring the contract maintains staffing levels across all labor categories and at all locations. 

Basic Qualifications.

  • Requires a minimum of 12 years relevant experience.
  • Must have US citizenship and an Active DoD TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Previous experience with project/program management.
  • Experience working as a staffing manager on efforts of at least 200 FTE
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with program managers, subcontractors, and financial personnel
  • Ability to consistently meet and exceed expectations and incorporate customer service into all aspects of work.
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills, strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
  • Problem-solving mentality and ability to bring process improvements and innovations to the program.
