Job Requisition:Cloud Program Manager
The Defense Group at Leidos, is seeking an experienced and self-starting program manager to manage programmatic execution and delivery of multiple development, engineering, and operations task orders on the Cloud One program under GCSS-AF.
The Leidos Cloud One team and our partners are leading the charge for the development, accreditation, and migration of applications into the US Air Force’s Cloud One Environment, comprised of Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services government clouds. The cloud task order program manager will report in to the Cloud One program director, and will provide to all employees and partners on the task orders under their purview, to include engineering managers, migration managers, information assurance and operations managers, and their staff.
•Management of execution and operations of the Cloud One program, working with engineering/technical leads to delivery mission capability, identify and resolve issues, and continually improve performance
•Manage task orders to include stand-up of cloud environments from unclassified, FOUO/PII, to Secret level, and accreditation and operation of those environments, as well as continual evolution and delivery of support tooling
•Management of all programmatic (financial, contractual, subcontractor, administrative, personnel, etc) areas of assigned task orders
•Interface with Leidos leaders, Leidos team members, partner companies, and customers to understand issues and attack them as required, providing reporting, status, insight, and guidance/oversight
•Provide effective ability to manage mixed teams of company, 3rd party vendors, and sub-contractors and their personnel
•Understand and execute a wide variety project management approaches, including standard SDLC and PM methodologies (Waterfall, Agile / Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
•Deliver timely, effective, easily understandable, concise program deliverables including program roadmaps, governance plans and presentations, project calendars, cross-project dependencies, risks analyses and mitigation, key performance indicator (KPI), stakeholder coordination and status communication via multiple mediums.
•Provide effective programmatic change management control.
•Lead teams of agile teams using tools such as JIRA, Workfront, etc.
•Define, manage, and maintain enterprise-level integrated master schedules.
•Enable effective and efficient continuous build, integration, test, and required deliveries.
•Assist in triage of other projects/programs and makes recommendations to senior-level leadership.
•Lead with practicality and wisdom in the midst of competing priorities and diverse personalities.
•Operate as a highly independent and dynamic program leader.
•Ensures project document deliveries and underlying repositories are maintained to defined requirements and standards.
•Fundamental understanding of Cloud technologies and application migrations
•Utilize highly developed communication skills to achieve stated business requirements.
•Effectively executes on the basics of program management communication.
•Effectually communicates program objectives, status, risks and alternatives with senior stakeholders, leadership and executives.
•Ensures regular, effective communication happens with team members and cross-functional resources. Leadership / Guidance in Program Management Discipline
•Proven successful large cloud program leadership skills
•Proven successful skills as subject matter expert in the program management discipline.
•Serves as a subject-matter expert and “go to” person for guidance.
•Provide effective senior-level customer communication and management skills.
•Requires a BA/BS or equivalent experience and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6+ years of prior relevant experience. Generally has 4+ years of experience supervising or leading teams or projects preferably for a large company.
•Demonstrated ability to lead across diverse and geographically dispersed teams.
•Demonstrated ability to summarize complex issues and brief internal and customer executives
•Significant demonstrated understanding of modern software development and infrastructure tools, processes and practices, including Agile Development, Cloud, and DevSecOps.
•Sufficient experience and skills to obtain a PMP / PMBOK certification.
•DoD Secret security clearance
•Demonstrated understanding of delivery of large-scale cloud migration and or cloud service delivery programs and projects.
•Experience working with the US Air Force
