Job Requisition:Maritime Information Specialist
The Intelligence Group at Leidos has an opening for a Maritime Information Specialist to work in our St. Louis, Missouri office. This is an opportunity to use your experience helping the Maritime Source Processing Service mission. In this mission we apply key metadata tags to each piece a maritime source we receive from our customer. These metadata tags ensure the source is correctly organized and easily query able. This project also parses Notice to Mariner corrections using automated and manual tool sets.
The ideal candidate will apply appropriate metadata tags to all maritime source material. They will utilize internet browsers to complete assigned tasks. They will operate numerous software suites, be detailed oriented, have strong organizational skills, and the ability to complete time sensitive deadlines.
- Must be familiar with maritime source, especially Notice to Mariners
- Must have excellent computer skills
- Must be organized and the ability to exercise attention to detail, and follow oral and written instructions
