Job Requisition:Senior Penetration Tester Cybersecurity with active TS/SCI and polygraph
Leidos is seeking a Penetration Tester to conduct security assessments, including vulnerability assessments and penetration tests, of computer network systems in accordance with published guidelines. The individual should be able to work independently, be self-starting, and also be able to interact and communicate well within a team environment.
Position is in Reston, VA. Candidates must currently possess a TS/SCI security clearance with a CI polygraph.
- Assess network security using automated and manual techniques to identify security vulnerabilities.
- Exploit vulnerabilities and identify and document risks to networks.
- Use multiple techniques, including social engineering, to obtain network and physical access to sites.
- Create assessment reports that document vulnerabilities, identify causes, and propose remediation strategies
- Maintain industry certifications.
Requires Bachelor's degree and 20 years of prior relevant experience; or a Masters with 15 – 20 years of prior relevant experience or Doctorate with 13 – 16 years of prior relevant experience.
Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a closely related discipline.
Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience conducting penetration testing or Blue team testing. Must have one full year of penetration or Blue team testing experience within the last 3 calendar years.
Must hold a GPEN, GWAPT, GCIH, GYPC, GSE, OSEE, OSCE, OSCP, or GXPN.
4 years of additional demonstrated work experience in compliance, penetration, or blue team assessments will be accepted in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
