Job Description:

Position Summary:
Lead a development and operations team in the development and operational excellence of a AWS Cloud platform. The team develops and supports a set of services such as Identity and Access Management, Data Services, Security Services, and tools to remove friction from client teams onboarding their applications quickly and efficiently.

What you'll get to do:
The manager is responsible for day to day client relationships, team assignments, and providing thought leadership to GSA on the future direction of cloud services such as containerization and data services.

Basic Qualifications:
-Requires a BA/BS or equivalent experience and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6+ years of prior relevant experience.
•5+ years experience leading software engineering teams with a history of shipping successful enterprise on-premises apps. 
•Allow your team to stand on your shoulders by providing them with effective professional development plans.
•You have a history of supporting your teams to apply technical solutions that solve end user problems.
•You take the time to understand the core business model and can make sense of the work your team does and how it fits into the success of the company.
•Excellent written and oral communication skills that you leverage to align teams, groups, and customers.
•You value automated testing as much as writing expressive clean code and support your teams in their pursuit of craftsman level execution and engineering excellence.
