Leidos has a job opening for a Entry Level Software Engineer in Charlottesville, VA.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Leidos is hiring software engineers for full-stack and frontend roles for the Charlottesville office. Leidos works on everything from autonomous ships to hospital patient telemetry. We use GraphQL for APIs, Typescript with React + Redux for frontends, Rust or Typescript in Docker or AWS Lambda for backends. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Design and implement the data-driven software that fixes airport security or drives robotic ships.
-Write code, not meeting notes – generally expect morning stand-up to be your only meeting.
-Succeed or fail as part of a four-to-six person scrum team and accept failure with respect.
-Learn Rust & Typescript – expressive languages with powerful tooling and frameworks.
-Work with Site Reliability Engineers to deploy and harden scalable software.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
-Bachelor's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field with 0-2 years of relevant experience and a minimum 3.0 GPA.
-Mastery of a modern language, ideally Python, Java, Rust, or Javascript (ES6+).
-Able to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
-US citizenship is required.

-Working familiarity with Docker and/or AWS Lambda
