Job Requisition:Project Planner
The Defense Group at Leidos currently has an opening for a Project Planner in our Huntsville, Alabama facility in support of the ATE Support Program.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Develop schedules for parallel-running projects.
Utilize Project Management Professional (PMP) techniques, provide analysis and coordinate with functional and program management.
Work within various databases to provide support in the areas of procurement, budget spend plans, work authorizations and task management.
Assist in technical writing and data gathering for proposal efforts, including RFIs, RFPs and RFQs.
- Bachelor’s degree in an associated field and less than two years of prior relevant experience. Additional experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
- Active DoD Secret security clearance or ability to obtain.
- Knowledge of the basic principles of project planning.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office family of software packages.
- Extensive communication skills with the ability to present and explain facts, analysis and processes.
- PMP Certification
- Active DoD Secret security clearance
