The Mission Support Organization is currently seeking a Methodologist to support an office of the Intelligence Community focused on internal business analytics. All candidates must possess an active TS/SCI w-Polygraph security clearance to be considered for the position.
Successful candidates will have skills in business or data analytics to provide systematic, methodologically sound analyses of large data sets. The candidate will support a variety of tasks including:
- Analysis of production and performance metrics;
- Human resource evaluations on hiring, retention, promotion, training, and diversity and inclusion;
- Survey design, development and analysis;
- Data integrity and validation;
- Design and development of dashboards and databases.

The Methodologist will be called upon to provide advanced statistical analyses on personnel and performance metrics. The Methodologist will draw upon their experience to assist the customer in developing practical approaches for measuring performance. For example, they will be responsible for helping the customer select the appropriate methodology, conducting the research by extracting data from large customer databases, analyzing the information and providing results in a manner that is easily grasped by the customer.
Candidates will be asked to organize data, perform analyses, and support building of tools and applications as part of small, independent, multidisciplinary teams. Candidates should experience with a variety of analytic approaches -- such as statistics, survey methodologies, quality and performance measures – and analytic tools including one or more of: PL-SQL, Tableau, Excel, MS Access, web form development, and/or Python.
Bachelors’ Degree with 6 years’ of applicable experience or 4 additional years’ of experience in lieu of degree. Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI Clearance. Must have 2+ years JAVA experience.
Qualified Methodologist candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience working with advanced data analytics, data engineering, data science or related experience. Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI w-Polygraph clearance.
Qualified candidates should have excellent oral and written communication skills. They should also have demonstrated strong visual presentation skills, i.e. using charts, graphics, and other visual materials to present data in comprehensive and comprehensible ways. Prior experience with an Intelligence Community analytic component is desirable.
