The Leidos Civil NISC III program has an opening for a Data Entry Operator II in Washington, DC. This position is in support of the FAA National Airspace System (NAS) Operations Group. The position requires the application of experience and judgment in selecting procedures to be followed, and searching for interpreting, selecting, or coding items to be entered from a variety of document sources on a computer such as Microsoft Excel and PDF format. (Problems such as erroneous items and codes, or missing information are resolved at the Program Analyst level.)
Data entry personnel are specifically responsible for transposing information from dissimilar systems and documents into an on-line database to be accessed by FAA field support personnel. Entries must be consistent with the required data format fields. Data entry personnel also work closely with Program Analysts in coordinating the volume of line item entries and as measured against the size of the overall activity.
Basic Qualification Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
Working knowledge of commonly used software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook required.
Requires experience and skill in operating a computer keyboard and performing data entry tasks.
Ability to work for $18.61/hour
