Job Description:

 The Defense Group at Leidos currently has openings for Sr. Targeting Analyst/Instructors with the 315th at Goodfellow AFB, TX. This position is part of a large program supporting Air Combat Command’s (ACC) Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) mission. Candidates must already possess a current TS/SCI security clearance in order to be considered. Unfortunately, there are no exceptions to this requirement.

Primary Responsibilities

The instructor shall support ACC Intelligence Initial Qualification Course (IIQC) execution and other training activities as directed by the unit Senior Intelligence Officer, lead IIQC Instructor, or A2 staff.  Personnel will support instruction, materials development, course maintenance, and other related activities.  The instructor shall incorporate systems/tools training throughout curriculum. The candidate will assist in producing targeting and geospatial products as required and support the development and delivery of Precise Point Mensuration (PPM) training and competency assessments to US and allied personnel under the auspices of the Air Force Precise Point Positioning Program (AFP4). Specific duties include acquiring source data and creating tailored targeting and geospatial products IAW customer requirements and standards; modification of AFP4 training and competency assessment materials for release to allied partners; development of releasable, country-specific data sets; completing and conducting formal Initial Qualification Training (IQT) and Mission Qualification Training (MQT); and administering PPM competency assessments per AFP4 standards. 

Basic Qualifications

TS/SCI security clearance

Minimum of Associate’s degree required (CCAF preferred). Bachelor’s degree highly desired.

10+ years of related experience

PPM /CDE experience

Previous instructor experience

Must be able to successfully complete instructor training as directed by the Air Force

Excellent writing, communication, administrative and organizational skills
Excellent operational judgment and ability to respond quickly to high priority data with minimal supervision.

Highly Desired:

Basic Instructor Course (BIC)

Experience as an AETC certified instructor

Combat intelligence support experience, either deployed or from home station

Expertise on Air Force Instructions and AFTTP 3-1 documents

Experience supporting site-specific MDS or similar mission-type MDS at the tactical unit level or in direct support from the operational level
