Support Project LifeCycle (PLC) activities. Includes familiarization with the Leidos PLC, assistance in setting up and executing the Project LifeCycle reviews as well as recording results. Opportunity to contribute to PLC process improvement. Some Sharepoint development may be required. Occasional support to Project Managers in complying with the PLC may be required. Great chance to get top down insight into how an IT business executes long term objectives. The applicant must be able to work throughout the school year either part time and/or full time.

Extreme maturity and attention to detail is required.Support Project LifeCycle (PLC) activities.
-Obtain a working understanding of the process, from Demand Management (Corporate Project Recommendations) through business case analysis, requirements elicitation, design, implementation, testing, production and closure, to include both technical and business related considerations. Not just a technical internship.
-Intern will directly support all detailed aspects of the Leidos PLC: scheduling reviews, coordinating across all functional and technical organizations, attending all reviews, recording minutes and following up on action items.Miscellaneous duties as assigned in support of Demand Management and the PLC.
-Opportunity to operate at the Corporate CIO level, starting at the ground floor, but with ability to provide input into process improvement and get to understand and operate in the Corporate world.
-Schedule, execute and record Project LifeCycle reviews. Coordinate across the Corporation on required compliance aspects, to include not only Corporate guidelines and policy but US Government and International Regulatory Compliance requirements.
-Support PLC tool maintenance: Sharepoint development may be required.
-Assistance to Project Managers in complying with the PLC - Decision Tracking, Milestone and Gate (MAG) Review follow up and Action Item tracking. May be detailed to support IT projects as required.
-Pursuing a B.S. Degree in Systems Engineering, Business Analytics, or Business Administration with a focus on IT or equivalent, with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
-Able to work throughout the school year either part time and/or full time.
-Evidence of being a self-starter.
-Experience using Microsoft Office applications.
-Good communication skills.
-US citizenship is required.
