Leidos is currently seeking a motivated Logistics Analyst to work on the CLS-A program in Chesapeake, VA. The CLS-A program currently supports Special Mission Wing (SMW) operations. The Logistics Analyst will be responsible for ensuring complete logistical support of program to include aircraft parts, special tools, calibrated items, test equipment, repair and return of components, and support items.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Support P- Card Purchasing of general supplies and parts to support OCONUS operation.
Coordinate Import Export of ITAR and commercial materials To/From Afghanistan.
Ensure documentation accompanies Shipment from CONUS location and packages are marked appropriately.
Coordinate shipping from Vendor locations to/From Afghanistan.
Maintain Material Requisition database.
Manages and maintains accountability of GFP/GFE across the entire program.
Coordinates with corporate SCM organization to ensure timely acquisition and delivery of materials.
Reviews reports, papers, drawings, specifications, procedures, etc.; consolidates comments from various organizations, and drafts reports. Coordinates with functional areas to forecast requirements and costs.
Assists in maintaining program management data, planning schedules and documents.
Analyzes and researches material to gain a thorough understanding of the management, organizational and business elements supporting a task assignment.
Assists in preparing oral presentations and written reports.
Position may require travel and the ability to pass and maintain a security clearance.
Bachelor's Degree preferred; more experience may be substituted in leui of degree.
Must possess 3 or more years of logistics experience.
Good communications skills, working knowledge of word processing and integrated software applications, management and organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work are required.
Very familiar with Microsoft Office software, specifically Excel and Access, proficient with P-card Policy, and Cost-point.
Candidate must have the ability to obtain a Secret clearance if needed
Aviation experience a plus. Ability/willingness to travel to Afghanistan a Plus.
