The National Solutions Operation at Leidos currently has an opening for Infrastructure Service Manager in a mission operations environment. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience and provide support to the Department of Defense’s mission. This position will be part of mission operations and will be operating in a fast paced operations environment. The candidate should be well versed in infrastructure operations and will be responsible for overseeing the investigation and resolution of problems for systems. The ideal candidate will have the experience to provide first line of defense , deploy, operate, and maintain infrastructure devises. Primary responsibilities include investigating and fixing problems as they arise in the infrastructure service branch. In addition to resolving issues as they arise, the ISL will keep the battle captain apprised of system issues within the infrastructure services branch as they arise and where necessary. Also will collaborate and coordinate with service lane SMEs to resolve issues after providing initial assessment and being unable to resolve the infrastructure issue.
The ideal candidate will have the experience to provide first line of defense , deploy, operate, and maintain infrastructure devises.
• BS degree and 12 – 15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10 – 13 years of prior relevant experience. May possess a Doctorate in technical domain.
• US Citizenship and an Active TS/SCI Clearance w/ Polygraph required.
• Must have experience with physical and virtual servers
• Experience working with technologies and products that include Microsoft, RHEL, CentOS, Solaris, Mac OS, Oracle/SPARC, and VMWare
• Experience managing large teams supporting IT functions
• Experience briefing C-level executives
