The National Solutions Operation at Leidos currently has an opening for a Lead Change and Configuration Manager in a mission operations environment. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience and provide support to the Department of Defense’s mission. This position is part of mission operations and will be operating in a fast paced operations environment. The candidate should be well versed in infrastructure operations and will be responsible for investigating and resolving problems for systems. The ideal candidate will have the experience to provide first line of defense , deploy, operate, and maintain infrastructure devises. Primary responsibilities include investigating and fixing problems as they arise in the infrastructure service branch. In addition to resolving issues as they arise, the ISL will keep the battle captain apprised of system issues within the infrastructure services branch as they arise and where necessary. Also will collaborate and coordinate with service lane SMEs to resolve issues after providing initial assessment and being unable to resolve the infrastructure issue.
This role leads configuration management and other ITIL activities including change and release management, and working with service lanes to coordinate all releases.
- Candidate must have an active TS/SCI with CI POLY
- Bachelor’s and 4 – 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 – 6 years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience providing technical/management support on major program tasks or technology assignments.
- Experience establishing goals and plans that meet project objectives.
- Domain and expert technical knowledge.
- Experience directing and controlling activities for a client, having overall responsibility for management of technical baselines and ensuring that technical requirements are met.
- Experience interfacing with senior management and negotiating with clients on requirements and deliverables.
- Experience managing personnel
