Be part of the winning Leidos team and use your valued experience to support the Integrated Base Defense Sustainment Support (IBD-SS). This is an exciting opportunity for a entry level Mechanic, Generator Technician located at Bagram, Afghanistan.

Primary Responsibilities
Daily duties include support in the sustainment of the IBD generator equipment/systems in Bagram, Afghanistan which includes preventive and corrective maintenance activities in accordance with equipment specific technical manuals, bulletins, and regulatory requirements. All maintenance activities will be closely supervised. 

Basic Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent and 1 plus years of relevant experience related to generator/mechanical maintenance. 
• Must be able to work in Afghanistan for the duration of the contract effort supporting 7 days a week at 12 hours per day with flexibility to work overtime in austere outdoor environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant generator or automotive maintenance experience or military equipment.
• United States Army/DOD generator mechanic experience a plus.
