Leidos has a job opening for an Software Developer in Chantilly, VA.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Command, Control, and Intelligence (C2&I) Division has an opening for a Software Developer to assist with development and testing of a mature, commercial suite of GIS Products.

We are seeking an Android and C# engineer to support software development activities for the GeoRover software program (www.georover.com). Candidate is expected to lead all software testing efforts as well as maintaining continuous integration system.

Position is full-time.  Place of employment is Chantilly, VA.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Work independently and as part of a team to design and develop GIS software solutions.
•Document and communicate designs and test plans.
•Complete assigned development tasks, bugs, improvements, and features.
•Help determine requirements for new products and new release versions.
•Provide technical assistance to customer support personal.
•Work with developers, testers, software installers, and product technical writers to produce high-quality professional GIS products.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
•Bachelor’s Degree with related industry experience in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
•1 to 2 years in software development.
•Experience in the following: Android, C# using Visual Studio, Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), .NET 3.5+, Model-View-ViewModel (MVVM) architectural pattern, Extensible Application Markup Language (XAML).
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•Knowledge of GIS products and processes
•US citizenship is required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
•BS in a technical field of study, with coursework including GIS.
•GIS development experience. Ideally with ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap using ArcObjects, or other ESRI products
•Experience with software development tools such as: Subversion, Perforce, JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins, ReSharper
•Experience creating software installs with InstallShield.
•Secret Clearance
