COMSEC Manager in support of the AFNCR IT Services program in the National Capital Region (NCR). The AFNCR IT Services program provides support services for information systems for Headquarters Air Force (HAF), Air Force District of Washington (AFDW), Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Joint Chiefs of Staff and other Air Force activities within the AFNCR missions to include the Pentagon, Joint Base Andrews (JBA), Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB), and other locations, leased spaces, and alternate sites. The senior leaders and national defense missions that are supported require that the AFNCR operations never fail, resulting in a fast paced, challenging, but also rewarding environment.
- The COMSEC Manager will manage the overall COMSEC posture for an Air Force installation in the national Capital region.
- The selected candidate will:
Establish controls so only properly cleared personnel with a legitimate need are issued COMSEC material.
Establish a comprehensive user training program.
Ensure installation compliance with COMSEC requirements.
Complete Audits and Inventories.
- Requires a BA degree and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6+ years of prior relevant experience, additional years of experience accepted in lieu of a Degree.
- Minimum 1 year of experience COMSEC Account Manager (CAM).
- 10 years of experience managing COMSEC as a COMSEC responsible officer.
- Currently possess a DoD TS/SCI clearance or higher.
- Must have completed COMSEC Account Manager Electronic Key Management System Training.
