Job Description:

The Defense Group at Leidos currently has an opening for a Task Order Manager at Hill Air Force Base, Utah.  This position will provide project and program management support for the F-16 Avionics Intermediate Shop (AIS) Product Support Integration (PSI) program.  

Primary Responsibilities

The Task Order Manager’s day-to-day activities include the following: (1) Managing technical task order staff on a day to day basis. (2) Coodrdinating with government and internal Leidos management on priorities and assisgnments (3) have a strong understanding of F-16 Automatic Test Equipment and associated TPS; (4) provide leadership to a team of engineers.(5) understand and mitigate risks associated with the implementation of the AIS upgrades, changes, and obsolescence issues.  Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing is a must

Basic Qualifications

•    Active DoD Secret security clearance.
•    Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of experience managing government programs. Four additional years of related experience will substitute for Bachelor's degree.
•    Knowledge of F-16 Avionics Intermediate Station (including all variants AIS, IAIS (improved AIS), VXI-IAIS, R-IAIS (Rackmount Improved Avionics Intermediate Shop) Automated Test Equipment ATE as well as Support Equipment Recommendation Data (SERD) hardware, and associated ancillary Support Equipment (SE)). 
•    Management experience including organizing, directing, and coordinating the planning and implementation of support activities; interfacing with government personnel; formulating and reviewing project feasibility studies, evaluating costs, ensuring conformance to work standards; interpreting policies, purposes, and goals of the organization for subordinates; managing logistics support analysis for military systems;
