Leidos is currently seeking a Junior Software Engineer to support the Cybersecurity Mission in Annapolis Junction, Maryland.  This position requires and active TS/SCI Polygraph security clearance.

An exciting and challenging opportunity in domains such as:

Researching proof of concept techniques and reverse engineering vulnerabilities and publicly released exploits in mobile devices. The team works in a collaborative and agile environment with often-changing priorities and demands. 

Providing Analytic and Software Engineering support to Cybersecurity operation missions by designing and implementing analytical solutions and developing prototype solutions using a variety of tools, APIs, frameworks and programming languages.  The candidate will be part of a robust Cybersecurity Defense development team and assist with utilizing Cybersecurity Analysis techniques to rapidly develop solutions to support emerging mission requirements.  The position provides the opportunity to work closely with the operators to identify the requirements and implement solutions for both the short and the long term.  The candidate will work in collaboration with a highly skilled development consisting of software engineers and data scientists in DevOps/agile development environment.

Working in a dynamic environment providing vulnerability assessments and mitigations on a variety of emerging technologies. The work will leverage your ability to deconstruct and tear-down a variety of hardware and software, focusing on new and emerging devices and technologies.

The candidate must have:

Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience.

  • 2 year of general experience in computer science, computer engineering, mathematics, or a related discipline.
  • At least one (1) year of experience as a software engineer supporting software architecture development, requirement analysis, process execution and evaluation, selection and evaluation of COTS/GOTS tools, and integration (with both new and existing systems).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to take initiative in the work
  • Must be able to work in a team environment
