Leidos is seeking an Enterprise System Architect to partner on a large enterprise IT contract for the DoD.
Responsibilities and tasks may include some or all of the following:
- Support all aspects of an Intelligence Community (IC) Enterprise Architecture, to include technical assessments and technical requirements analysis, as well as future capability needs (near and long-term) to drive the design and integration of the IT Enterprise.
- Assist with analyzing, developing, integrating, and maintaining an enterprise architecture based on community policies and guides.
- Support the promotion of sharing and reusing IT applications and solutions.
- Support the architecture and strategic design guidance of a collaborative sharing services program
- Coordinate boards and other technical working groups.
- Support all aspects of the current and planned user capabilities: Analytics, Collaboration, Enabling Services, and Search and Discovery, etc.
- Assist with engaging with mission users, senior management and customers to translate their requirements into detailed technical solutions.
- Help mentor and review the work of junior team members.
- Supports customer requirements in a 24/7/365 environment.
- Experience and knowledge of enterprise architecture in the IC
- Experience delivering solution architectures for large complex enterprise transformation efforts, requiring the deployment of shared services including legacy systems modernization and replacement
- Experience working large architecture initiatives including the identification, scheduling and managing of architecture activities, artifacts and migrations
- Understanding of information technology functions and services supporting the IC and the missions of its respective agencies
- Familiarization/experience with enterprise computing and enterprise class commercial technologies
- Demonstrated experience in implementing enterprise technology, especially in collaborative environments
- Experience in collaborating with other enterprise technologists both internal and external to resolve complex technical issues
- Experience in supporting and coordinating across senior-level organizations
- Ability to represent senior management in key meetings, processes, and other assignments, to include briefing responsibilities to groups of any size
- Superior oral and written communication skills
- Candidate must, at a minimum, meet DoD 8570.11- IAT Level II certification requirements (currently Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, GSEC, or SSCP).
- Candidate must have a BS with 4-8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2-6 years of prior relevant experience.
- Due to the nature of the government contracts we support, US Citizenship is required.
- An active TS/SCI with a Polygraph is required for this position.
- Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or Information Technology desired.
- Experience collaborating with diverse IC stakeholders to drive consensus and forward progress.
