Leidos Innovations Center (LInC) has a career opportunity for a Program Director located in Reston, VA.
Program Director for the Leidos Innovations Center (LInC) is responsible for the implementation and compliance of Leidos Policy LP-PE-1 which includes oversight of LInC programs through regular reviews and deep dives, regular involvement of LInC proposals through participation and leadership in technical readiness reviews (TRRs), execution planning reviews (XPRs), bid risk reviews (BRRs), and bid approval reviews. LInC includes many delivery programs and programs with emerging technologies. Program Director must maintain understanding of major programs, risks, and technologies in order to provide regular oversight and guidance to PMs. Telecommuting is optional. Must be able to travel when needed.
Chair of IPRs, TRRs, XPRs, BRRs. Deep dives into troubled programs and supports the collaborative development of corrective action planning. Creation of Corporate Watch List for any LInC programs on Corporate Watch List. Program Director for the Leidos Innovations Center (LInC) is responsible for the implementation and compliance of Leidos Policy LP-PE-1 which includes oversight of LInC programs through regular reviews and deep dives, regular involvement of LInC proposals through participation and leadership in technical readiness reviews (TRRs), execution planning reviews (XPRs), bid risk reviews (BRRs), and bid approval reviews as well as proposal content review and generation.
Additional duties include:
-Mentoring and training of program managers on The LInC Way of program execution. Training requires the Program Director to oversee and direct the generation of LInC Brown Bag Lunchtime Learning Snack material and delivery. The generation and delivery of training material for new LInC PM
-Approving SPAs, MRs, IPRs and BARs as annotated in the LInC ATO for LInC
-Review and approval of NDAs, teaming agreements and other documented signature authorities.
-Being a liaison and expediter for PMs and functional support with LInC including, but not limited to Procurement, Contracts (and subcontracts), Business Development, Account Payable and Finance. Supporting the development of opportunity capture strategy by participation in all LInC level capture activities such as Collaboration Sessions, price to win, OIRs and other reviews and meetings.
-Must have a Bachelor’s degree and 12 years of relevant experience DoD program and or finance management or prior relevant experience or Masters with 10+ years or prior relevant experience.
-Must be eligible for a DoD TS clearance.
-Must have a deep understanding of Leidos business systems and processes.
-Working experience with R&D programs supporting US Government.
-Experience in light manufacturing management.
-Experience providing oversight of SAR programs where access may be limited.
-Knowledge of the unique -nature of bidding DARPA programs is a plus.
